Center Parcs streamlines activities with Wax Digital eProcurement
Award-winning leisure company Center Parcs has chosen Wax Digital to streamline its purchasing processes across all four of its holiday villages in the UK, supporting in excess of 6,000 employees.
Center
Parcs has to-date used a paper-based manual requisition process which involves
a lot of form filling, duplicate data entry and collecting multiple signatures
for spend approval. Whilst effective in controlling spend, this manual system
creates a large administrative burden that pushes up the cost of ordering,
creates frequent order delays and results in mountains of paperwork.
We went through an exhaustive vendor selection process,
but Wax Digital's expertise delivering web-based eProcurement to large
user communities like ours shone through.
The new processes will free up employee time, allowing our
staff to concentrate their attention where we want it - on continued customer
service excellence.

The new Wax Digital on-demand procurement system will allow employees to browse and order indirect spend items from approved suppliers via a web procurement portal, delivering considerable process efficiencies.
"Wax Digital is delighted to be working with yet another household brand name like Center Parcs. The organisation is the perfect environment for our systems - lots of dispersed users frustrated by inefficient manual processes - so we know we can really add significant value to their purchasing team and the organisation as a whole," commented Daniel Ball, Director, Wax Digital.
