Wax Digital in the Frame for ESPO
Wax Digital is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of a small number of providers for a new eSolutions Framework established by the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), a local authority purchasing consortium operating throughout the Midlands and East of England.
The ESPO contract has been established on behalf of the 'Pro5' group of Professional Buying Organisations, establishing a Framework Agreement for the provision of eTendering, Contract Management Solutions including supplier portals, Electronic document exchange, eEvaluation, eAuctions and other related services to meet the needs of the various Pro5 members; Central Buying Consortium, West Mercia Supplies, the North East Purchasing Organisation and the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation.

We conducted an extremely thorough evaluation and selection process in tendering and establishing this Framework and were impressed by all successful suppliers' technical capabilities, service and support offerings. The Framework we have established now makes a variety of eSolutions available to Pro5 members and other public sector bodies at very competitive rates

The Pro5, which has a combined purchasing power of in excess of £2 billion per annum, is responding to the ever-increasing demands for efficiency and performance improvement faced by local authorities by providing more effective procurement solutions.
Utilising best of breed technology and working to identify aggregation opportunities in key market areas, Pro5 aims to deliver better deals and more effective contract arrangements than if local authorities continued to work separately. Furthermore it will assist authorities in improving environmental and sustainability performance.
Under the terms of the agreement, for which Wax Digital has been awarded 'Whole E-Solution' status, all Pro 5 members and other Public Sector organisations can take advantage of competitively tendered eSourcing software and related services provided by Wax Digital Limited.
