Wax Digital doesn't Hyde its plans for growth
Meeting the needs of an ever-expanding and increasingly global client-base has spurred Wax Digital to make the move to much bigger office premises in Hyde.
The company, which is looking forward to a record growth year in 2009, delivers eProcurement software that helps market-leading organisations make big cost savings. Clients include Xerox, Comet, the NHS, Network Rail, Thorntons, Dixons, Play.com and Center Parcs.
Wax Digital's new offices are only ½ mile away from its old ones as the crow flies but are light years away in terms of facilities, with an open plan development floor, vastly improved meeting, training and presenting spaces and plenty of parking. The new space also gives the business room to develop its global helpdesk facilities, a crucial consideration since it will be supporting users of its software across 48 countries by the end of the year.
"We are planning to grow the 60 strong workforce by over 10% in the next 12 months and the new premises gives us plenty of room to add to our team of skilled web and software developers", said Paul Ellis, managing director, Wax Digital.
