Wax digital team recieving their prolific north award

Wax Digital scoops two awards at inaugural Prolific North awards ceremony

Wax Digital, a leading eProcurement provider based in Manchester, won two awards at the Prolific North awards ceremony on the 8th May 2019. The technology company received honours in the categories ‘Best application of tech – manufacturing’ as well as ‘Best application of tech – finance’.

Over 400 people from businesses across the North West attended the event, hosted at the Midland Hotel in the heart of Manchester. In competitive categories, Wax Digital beat off opposition from other organisations such as Hydra Creative, Mojo Mortgages, Calls9 Limited and many more.

Paul Ellis, Managing Director at Wax Digital paid tribute to the staff at Wax Digital: “I’m really proud of all of our hard-working teams here at Wax Digital. To win both awards for which we entered is the recognition our staff deserve for all their efforts.”

To win both awards, Wax Digital submitted detailed written evidence and testimonials for two of its major projects, to be assessed by a panel of experienced judges. The projects submitted showcased procurement transformation through large-scale process automation across billions of pounds of spend for Nissan Europe and for Coventry Building Society.

Both the projects won awards because of the scope, scale and security of the solutions, according to Marcus Willbourn, Operations Director at Wax Digital. He said: “Nissan Europe chose Wax Digital because of our ability to deliver spend management, on a large-scale, for its pan-European operations. With Coventry Building Society, modernising ordering and invoicing in a secure and safe way was instrumental to the success of the project.”

Wax Digital will continue to deliver these innovative projects for its prospects and clients. During the last 12 months alone, the company has increased recurring revenues by over 25% and signed dozens of new household name clients. The strategy behind these successes is customer centricity according to Business Development Director, Daniel Ball. He says: “When we asked our clients such as Nissan Europe and Coventry Building Society what they liked about us the most, it’s always been because we put our customers first.

He added: “When developing our web3 platform, we always include client feedback – where appropriate – to tailor our products to clients’ evolving requirements.”
