Wax Digital, the UK’s number one eProcurement solution provider, has announced that it has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 6 Framework – the Government’s latest cloud-services procurement framework operated by Crown Commercial Service.
Public sector organisations can continue to easily source and adopt Wax Digital’s web3 eProcurement solutions via the Government’s online portal The Digital Marketplace, in four different variants: eSourcing, eSourcing with contract management, Purchase to Pay and Source to Pay.
All areas of government – including local authorities, healthcare and education – are required to evaluate cloud-based solutions when purchasing IT. G-Cloud is also open to other organisations such as charities and housing
Paul Ellis, managing director, Wax Digital, comments:
“I’m really excited about G-Cloud 6 and following our positive experiences of G-Cloud 5 Wax Digital is fully behind the recent changes made. Clearer service description formats will improve transparency making it easier for
buyers to accurately compare vendors and their solutions. This will help the public sector to further reduce costs by buying only the computing resource it needs, saving on time as well as IT maintenance, physical storage and unwieldy contracts.”
Wax Digital has over a decade’s experience working with the public sector and its web3 solution is already helping many organisations optimise their purchasing and invoicing processes, improve visibility on organisational
spend and achieve best value when working with suppliers. Wax Digital meets many of the stringent standards required by the public sector, including ISO 9001, offering the quality assurances it needs when working
with a technology provider.
Chris Smith, sales director, Wax Digital, comments: “G-Cloud has been really successful for us and we’ve seen a keen uplift in enquiries via the portal in recent months. Our web3 solutions are designed to be highly intuitive and
easy for the user to navigate, as well as being based on the procurement best practice that’s required by any public sector organisation.”
Wax Digital’s customers in the public sector include NHS Trusts, Housing Associations, Universities and the entire State of Jersey. It also works with a host of organisations in the not-for-profit sector including Age UK, Guide Dogs for the Blind, WWF and health and social care organisation Turning Point.
