What the business really thinks about procurement’s value.
Does procurement understand the buying needs of each department? Does the rest of the business realise how procurement can support their purchasing requirements?
We surveyed 200 senior managers – 50 each in procurement, finance, IT and sales and marketing in order to uncover the current perception of procurement’s value to the wider business. We discovered revealing gaps in procurement perception, communication and support between each department and huge opportunities for departmental collaboration, savings and growth.
